Affligem is a municipality with no village of its own name: it is Essene, Hekelgem and Teralfene, grouped around the Benedictine abbey founded in 1062 that gave the place its identity and lends its name to the abbey beer. Today it is above all a commuter municipality on the Brussels–Aalst axis, with building contractors, road transport, metal and welding workshops, horticulture and a busy layer of small businesses. There is no production house nearby — so we come to you. EchoLab sets up cameras, sound and lighting in your meeting room, workshop or converted barn and records there, with the timeline agreed before we start. Sessions run from €99, and our Brussels-region studio stays open as an alternative.

We film in all three villages: Hekelgem, with the abbey site and Sint-Michielskerk; Essene, along the Bellebeek near the old Bellemolen; and Teralfene, on the Dender side of the municipality. The local business zone and the SME workshops strung along the N9 and the E40 corridor are just as easy for us to work in, while the open fields towards the Kravaal woods give you an outdoor backdrop when a talking-head calls for one.

Do you film on location in Affligem?
Yes — it is our standard way of working. The crew travels to Essene, Hekelgem or Teralfene with cameras, sound and lighting included, from €99, and we film in your own office, workshop or hall. If you prefer a fully controlled set, you can record with us in our Brussels-region studio instead.
Can you film in a heritage setting such as the abbey site?
We film wherever you have permission to be, including heritage buildings around the abbey site in Hekelgem. Venue access and house rules are arranged on your side; we adapt lighting and sound to the room, and the delivery timeline is agreed before the shoot.
Which languages do you work in around Affligem?
Affligem is Dutch-speaking, so most shoots here are in Dutch. But the municipality lies on the Brussels–Aalst axis and plenty of teams also publish in French or English — our crew records in all three, and subtitles can be added in several languages afterwards.
How does pricing work?
Every session starts at €99. You build the rest in the booking — crew, editing, social clips, livestream, on-location — and the price updates live. All prices excl. VAT; we confirm the quote before anything is charged.
What do I leave with?
It depends on the package. A turnkey podcast includes the edited 16:9 video, the audio file and 5 vertical clips for social. We agree the delivery timeline with you when we plan the shoot.
Do I own the footage and files?
Yes, outright. Raw footage is available on request.
